  • I bet these are two people glad the US saved them from Saddam.

  • Whoever did this... we paid for it. This one brought me to tears.

  • (This was the aftermath of a carbombing. They are truly horrific.)

Although this was on the borderline for being graphic, I have so many of these of a relative pleading for help, that I thought I should put one up.

They're all gutwrenching. I can't help but imagine that being one of my family members.

  • Contrast this image with a beaming Bush yesterday in Baghdad.

  • That's why I put it up. I was trying to counter the apparent media narrative that after the trip, Iraq is suddenly okay.

    I just wanted a reminder.

  • May the cosmic forces make the bush regime pay someday for the LIES and atrocities. That picture is heartwrenching but the graphic pictures of depleted uranium damage and the "War Trophy" pictures at After Downing Street are almost too much to look at.

As tough as it is, everyone should still see all of this and I think you're right to post them up Mike.

  • Yeah, chuck, I took another tour through the After Downing Street pictures this morning. But those "trophy photos" (I call them meat photos are just too far for me.

My Aunt comes by here. I have some family members that come by. I try to use them as a guide. Before Nowthatsfuckeduop.com went registration, they used to have tons of soldier submitted photos, some good, some bad, but all from very close to the front.
