  • THIS is just one of the many instances that didn't need to happen EVER if the administration had left Iraq well enough ALONE. It makes me sick to know that thousands upon thousands would still be alive if it weren't for that VERY BAD DECISION! And more reserves are being called back to put their lives on the line again. And for what?!! They are putting their life on the line for us (or so says our administration)...and I don't want them to do it. I hope more refuse to go like Lt. Watada. Now the 'D' word is coming into conversation with a regularity that I don't like. I wonder how the US will react to the DRAFT? My reaction isn't very nice.

  • You're right. All the deaths stem from an intellectually incurious president who believed he would be the great liberator.

    I still don't see a draft. I've seen the rumblings as well, but it would be the ultimate admission of failure of the mission. If the administration has been unwilling to increase troop levels or fire Rumsfeld for politics, I find it hard to believe that hey would step into the politics of a draft.
