  • This is a really odd one to figure out. Is the guy on the right tired...or just disgusted...hiding his face from the camera...what? And what a funny way to strap the guys in for the ride. If it's a bumpy ride...their poor butts!

  • Just wanted to say thanks for your non-stop, great coverage of the war news and political coveerage.

I don't comment to often, what is there to say, except what a friggin mess.

I stop by everyday and always get up to date information without having to check multiple sites, good job.

  • Imagine what people will think when they view this photo 50 years from now...

And there's Ol' Glory hanging so proudly above it all.

  • Sumo, I don't know, but I think it's sleep. This is a very old picture that I pulled from a site not in English, so the detail is from my memory. I remember these photos coming out and being described as one of the early transfers from Afghanistan to Guantanamo. The army massively clamped down after that.

Time, thanks. I don't do a counter because I believe it's your right to come by anonymously, so it's always nice to know people are actually coming by.

And, Bruce, depending on circumstance, in 50 years they will probably have tons more information through declassifications, so this may be a drop in their bucket. But for some reason when I read your comment, I flashed back to a tour I took to the Bastille. Someday, people may tour the Guantanamo complex like Alcatraz.
