  • I've been thinking about that for a few days. Because he has been such a deferential parrot, but, at the same time, does have a longer record of being a pretty solid officer.

    Nonetheless, whenever your boss is fired, it's not an easy time.

  • I'm sure he is.

    Despite the statements, he knows. He knows that this is "his war." He wasn't the launcher of the conflict, and he isn't the final decider, but he is the top military figure.
