  • I really don't mind Warner. He wouldn't be my first choice, but generally, he's a pretty rational guy.

    My state brings you Sen. John Cornyn so you have realtively nothing to apologize for.

  • Yeah I was playing off of one of my previous comments about Webb...
    Warner is generally pretty good. Rational, I agree. However, I was recently quite disappointed in him though.

    Most congresspeople that have formerly served in the military, particularly in combat have a level-headedness about our current situation. McCain being the wild card. But his consistency really seems to be the issue. There is a certain merit to the arguement of what more troops could achieve. The irony being it likely would've meant hundreds of thousands more a long time ago.

    How many former Secretary's of the Navy can we send to the Senate?

  • I got the reference to the Webb comment.

    I'm not a huge Warner fan, but he's rational. I really don't have a big issue with alot of the rational Republicans. I may disagree on points, but a willingness to find the center, from either side of the aisle is a good thing.

    And the answer to the last question is apparently two.
