No answers. Just thought I'd throw them all together.

  • That's quite a purposeful leak from the generals. If some of them do throw away their careers and resign, it would effectively be the end of this administation.

    And if Powell had resigned in 2003 rather than give that speech to the UN, there might be no Iraq war to talk about. Team player my ass. Sometimes you've got to put the good of the country ahead of the damn team.

  • Well, if Powell had resigned, he would be a hero now. Not a Republican hero, but still vindicated.

    And, I don't really know what to make of the attack Iran stuff.

    We're getting signals it's coming from the British and through leaks from generals, but at the same time I keep thinking "they can't be that crazy."

  • And still no proof that Iran is trying to build a nuke. One would think that the fact that they're obeying by the NPT would resonate more.

  • I used to think that too, Mike. Not so sure anymore.

    romunov, I agree. The media never fails to shout about Iran going nuclear, with the implication being a bomb, and somehow the little detail about nuclear power gets lost.
