Picture of the Day - 4

(NYTimes) "At an appearance at Houston Baptist University, Mr. Giuliani said that he favors abortion rights, certain restrictions on gun ownership and gay rights."

What's the Italian equivalent of "oy vey?"

(And, notice they dropped it on a Friday.)

  • Giuliani and McCain are practically neck and neck on intrade. (was 30% Giuliani, 20% McCain over the last several weeks).

  • Yeah, this matters.

I'm almost more shocked that he went ahead and did the same thing on gun control because that's an irrational, unforgiving group to make mad, too.

  • Say bye-bye to Rudi. He just aborted whatever chance he had of being nominated.

A similar (but not exactly the same) expression would be Mah-donnn... (pronounced through separated teeth, by lightly vibrating the tongue against the roof of the mouth).

If you don't know what I mean, you don't watch the Sopranos. ;-)

  • Sorry, I was talking about pronouncing the "d" - Mah-donnn, what a dope I am.

  • abi, I don't know if he's gone simply because it's such a weak field, but he is wounded.

The real question for me is whether he'll be able to mobilize a ground game without the Christian right, however, in the new schedule with NY, Florida, California, and the rest moving early, that may not matter as much.

(Or it might matter alot more.)

    Mike
