Picture of the Day

15 months, patrolling everyday with two weeks off in the middle.

  • Well at least he doesn't have a TOUGH job... like The Decider. Phew.

Don't you just wish you had magic powers and could transport the Inner Cabal and all their pasty chicken hawk champions over to Camp Hell Hole in Iraq? To see these hypocrites and pinstriped Rambo's spend 15mo as anonymous soldiers on the front lines of Bush's War? Now THAT would be a reality TV show I'd pay money to see!

  • Did you see the ABCNews vido with the soldier saying he would serve another 15 month tour if he could get just one Washington politician to serve beside him everyday?

The comments got edited out in the version I found on their website, but it was pretty powerful.

  • I did not see that. It's nice to see the "free" press is sanitizing it's web content though. Wouldn't want the Dear Leader to look like he wasn't supporting the troops.

  • Sorry, I wasn't completely clear.

World News Tonight had the version I thought was stronger, but there was a reedited, longer version that appeared on Nightline and that's what they put on the site.

The Nightline version edited out two different soldier complaining segments that I though t were the most powerful bits in the piece.
