  • A striking picture but everybody will put their own interpretation on it. Some will say 'see what happens when you destroy a countries infrastructure', some will blame the kids parents (if she has any). Some will say Arabs don't care about a few flies. Bush of course will blame Al Quaida.

  • Just to be clear -- not that I really think I stepped on any toes -- my comments, of course, were "aimed" at anyone. Sometimes (often?) I take a posting as an invitation to reflect and discuss on an idea or emotion.

    In any case, despite there being no explicit context for the photo, I'm at a loss to find the positive, happy context from which such an fly-cover, cherubic face would be found.
