  • I know it's hugely unfair, but what is it about Cindy McCain that continually creeps me out?

  • I get the same thing. I think it's plastic surgery but I have nothing that says that happened.

  • Men - esp old men - need to accept the fact that comb-overs look so f'ing ridiculous...

    he looks embalmed to me...

  • That's the one thing that Giuliani did right in his presidential run.

  • I've thought about it a lot, but I don't know if I mentioned it out loud... I think an Obama - McCain debate would be a study in contrasts... in a Kennedy-Nixon kind of way.

Of course Barack better bone up on his "debating" skills. Oy. Can't rely simply on youth, vigor and good looks to get you through the gauntlet.

  • McCain is staking out a position as the War Guy. I'm not sure how Obama can counter that.

  • The counter, I think, is that we need to move past the Groundhog Day of endless warring and onto something more productive in Iraq. I don't know.

  • It's an interesting question because America is against the war, but they've also been repeatedly shown to be susceptible to that pro-war propaganda.

  • McCain's strategy is pretty obvious. War or surrender. Right now he's going after the military people in Florida. He'll probably tone it down a bit for California.

  • Oh yeah. Calling somebody a pussy works. I just find it interesting that that overrides the actual issue where 50+% want troop reductions.

  • Well it's possible he's misjudged the public. We'll see.
