  • So, I don't know, white trash(?). When I think of the Bush family, I think more Dukes of Hazzard than Duke of Windsor.

    I thought the media coverage -- especially pre-wedding coverage -- was really subdued. I don't know if it was at the command of the WH or what.

  • For some reason looking at this photo, I thought of all the high end stuff sold around the Diana wedding.

    I think when they chose to take it out of the White House, that took it down a notch. Plus, who really cares. It's not like Jenna was America's sweetheart.

  • Yeah, I guess. Still, the general lack of public interest seems noteworthy to me.... Especially in a celebrity-obsessed culture. What does it say that nobody cares about a Bush wedding?
