  • Photographically speaking, you usually place the subject such that they're moving into the scene. In this case the subject, Bush, is exiting the scene. I found this a powerful message of the image.... what he is leaving behind.

  • I hate to do this to you because I agree with you about the power in the construction of the photo, but the reason it's set up like this is actually that Sarkozy was standing right next to Bush and the photographer took a couple that cut him out.

    Power of the photo is still there, that's why I put it up, but the composition may not be that intentional.
