  • Only in America. What a country.

Greetings from St. John's, Newfoundland! I promised myself not to read the news, but I just can't resist your blog... damn you! :)

You don't realize what a police state America has become, until you travel in Canada. And I'm talking every thing from speed traps to military-style security... Just crossing over into New Brunswick the differences were starkly obvious.

I'm sad for what we've become...

OK. Back to my fish and chips... MMmmm.

  • If the US government wasn't more than murderous Keystone Cops and the Justice Department no better than the best years of Oliver Cromwell it wouldn't be so surrealistic living in here now.

  • that might not be bad coming from gandhi or someone like that [in terms of violation of the law].

but coming from someone like him...

  • Matt, It's a weird tv media reality.

    ....

Michael, Right, if you're speaking in terms of civil disobedience, but he said this in regards to Monica Goodling and the partisan hiring and firing at (what is now his) Justice Dept.

AND, he is the Attorney General.
