Isn't hiding Sarah Palin from the press an admission that she's not ready?

To the base it's "proof" that the media is a bunch of big old meanies picking on her.
She will appear on Fox News, you can bet, with pre-arranged softball questions. She will sign her name to editorials that others write. She will record speeches and put them up on YouTube. And she will appear in public, as she did in Wisconsin yesterday, at venues where she won't be questioned and the environment is controlled.
But it doesn't make her look strong or ready to any but the Faithful.

Oh yeah, they're blind in love with her.
(But mom....sure he's a murdering Meth salesman, but he has a gentle side you never see....)
And I tend to agree. the only hitch is that if she gives no media but Fox, Ellen, and the View, two of those three might feel pressure to actually ask her questions.
