In a much discussed column on the right, Kathleen Parker, calls for Sarah Palin to drop out of the race.
And, Huckabee calls McCain's suspension a "huge mistake."

I noticed that Palin was much more off balance with Curic than she was with Gibson. (I didn't see the Hannity interview).
Here's a woman who know how to deal with the "boys" in the game, but she's very uncomfortable with dealing with a peer: a strong, smart woman.

I think it's just that Couric framed the questions in a more closed manner and didn't let her back out to talking points as much.

I think that's part of it, but Gibson did a fairly good job on this as well.
I'm playing my "armchair psychologist" again... I think she's used to being the alpha (lone?) female in a pack of men, but I think she's insecure around strong, intelligent women. Around men, she can convince herself to believe her own inflated self-image. Around someone like Couric? Not so much. She's confronted with the fraud of her own self-image.
Again, I'm just calling it they way I see it. A "hobby" of mine.... I could be waaaaaay off. While I'm not trying to be funny, I'm Just having some fun with people watching.

I get ya, but I haven't seen enough evidence to declare any sort of pattern.
(And it's not like she's going to be around alot of high position women in the Republican party.)
