Picture of the Day - 3

If you read her energy speech today, can there be any question that she's now running for 2012?

(Tell me how this speech helps this McCain campaign.)

  • I guess a lot of the anti-palin stuff is coming from ex-Romney aides working for McCain. No idea why McCain isn't doing anything to stop it though.

  • If she's running for 2012, does that mean she's given up 0n 2008?

  • Praguetwin, that was one story the other day, but as I noted yesterday, Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt are flinging, too, and there's no way they could be called ex Romney.

It's top level McCain campaign at this point.

    ....

    Lew, Oh yeah. Clearly.

  • I'm more concerned that her energy policy seems to be naive about global oil markets... and the fact that Alaska actually exports fuels to Asia.

Her view of energy seems to be exclusively oil and gas, giving, at best, lip service to renewable and green energy. She seems to be clueless that we need to address the very infrastructure of energy, not just producing more of the same within the same distribution models.

    Very shallow vision.

  • And you expected a deep, complex and well developed vision?

    (Sorry.)

  • I expected someone to write her a more reality-based vision to read, I guess.

You know, we no longer have two parties competing for the American mind-share with competing but intellectually rational ideas. The Republican party has devolved into a mob of anti-intellectuals and ideologues.... many proudly so.

  • Well, if she is doing this for 2012, who is writing it?

Do you think the McCain staff is happily doing her bidding right now? Think she gets the top writer?

  • Thanks for clarifying. Did you catch the "joint" interview on CNBC? Wow, they were like an old married couple that never addresses one another.

Imagine what their conversations must be like!

    Brrrrr!!!!

I wonder if that's why we're seeing so many defections to the Obamacans?

  • Praguetwin, no, I didn't. I generally can't watch too much of the McCain stuff or I get angry. (And as long as he's losing, it doesn't matter to me.)

And, you know the thoughts in McCain's head are "g" rated.

    ////

Lew, He probably just thinks of them as "enemies." That's his worldview.
