Sarah Palin's soon to be inlaws

Remember how Sarah Palin's knocked up daughter and her "limited" boyfriend represented what was good about America?

Well, the boyfriend's mother was busted for drugs in Alaska,
Troopers charged Johnston with second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance -- generally manufacturing or delivering drugs -- as well as fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession.

The new illegitimate Palin grandchild is due on Saturday, (and I don't think they ever finally had that wedding.)

They wanted to put this freak show "one heartbeat away..."

  • To think she has been successfully packaged to the religious right.....

    It's just unbelievable, you know?

  • Yep.

  • I think a lot of the RR is willing to gloss over that stuff. I think that many on the RR come from a background of drug abuse and adultery and have 'found' God. They're much more willing to accept that this can happen and as long as you ask to be saved then you are 'ok' in their book.

Myself I never did get into that stuff and I look at it as a "you're a reflection of the company you keep".

  • I get it, but isn't part of that "saved" narrative that you left it all behind, right?

  • Maybe she didn't get that witch doctor treatment that Palin got?

  • This will pass without a ripple in the Evangelical Right. It's further proof to everyone that they're a set of delusional people attempting to drag us into their world -- but to them it's just the ordinary events of the outside world they're trying to ignore, and they'll ignore and excuse this too.

Do they remember Jimmy Swaggart? Or any of the rest of the Far Right "Ah have sinned!" crowd? The answer is of course no.
