"A search of transcripts available on Lexis-Nexis -- a limited sample, unfortunately -- for Fox's programming from Tuesday shows that in the span of just six hours, the network managed to squeeze in five segments devoted to a discussion of impending socialism; the words 'socialism,' 'socialist' and 'social democracy' were used a total of 37 times.

  • More spreading fear the the sheep? And if the stimulus has a positive impact that would mean 'socialism' works, right? So they must do all they can to make sure Americans are not helped, receive no benefit, and in fact become worse off, or else it would mean their (Repub) entire political philosophy is wrong.

    They're putting all their eggs in one basket. But that's what they always do. And then when they fail, they simply pretend then never said such things. (As the previous post illustrates).

    There are people strategizing to push this idea, but I think this is just effect.
