Pakistan admits something in Mumbai probe

Pakistan finally admits that the Mumbai bombings were committed by people associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and were planned, in part, in Pakistan.

The admission comes right before new US special envoy Richard Holbrooke arrives for his first meeting.

(Put the admission of Lashkar involvement within the context of Holbrooke's official/unofficial brief. The Indians lobbied very hard to get Kashmir excluded from Holbrooke's brief, to keep it just between India and Pakistan. Now the Pakistanis seem to want it on Holbrooke's plate.)
