"Don't get me wrong, slavery was a terrible, horrible thing. But you can't whine and cry about it these days. I mean, Jews were slaves, but they're not asking for compensation from Egypt."

  • Keep up the good work, Joe. Spread that gospel of new-Republicanism!

  • Is he the Paris Hilton of the GOP?

  • All kidding aside, I think Paris Hilton is smarter.

    See, Joe's problem isn't that he's uninformed, it's that he's ignorantly informed.

  • And he thinks that he's uniquely informed.

  • It's mythology to suggest Jews were slaves in Pharonic Egypt. Egyptian monuments etc were built by paid workers; indeed the pyramid of Khafra almost bankrupted the state at the time. The Bible here fails miserably as a historical document.
And 'whining these days about slavery'...well the sad fact is there are more slaves numerically in the world today than at any time in history.

  • I'm not even going to try to highlight/argue the details within Wurzelbacher's statement.

I'm just going to let the stupid stand for itself.

  • Of course Jews don't whine and cry about slavery anymore, they've got the Holocaust(TM)! For which they did receive reparations from Germans who weren't even born under Hitler's regime.

I used to wish Joe/Sam would just go away, but now I'd like to see him get athlete's tongue.

  • JTP had his book-signing today in DC.

It looks like it was quite a flop.
"Writer" is, what, his sixth "career" in as many months?

  • Lew, let's not play the holocaust stuff here.

    ...

Todd. nHis CPAC event kinda flopped out, too.

But in a way I don't blame him. He's just trying to make the most of the 15 minutes he was given. It's not his fault that he was elevated past the normal screens where his jackassery would have been screened out.

Of course, he's still a jackass.
