Out of the goodness of their hearts, right?
The health insurance industry offered Tuesday for the first time to curb its controversial practice of charging higher premiums to people with a history of medical problems....

Insurers are trying to head off the creation of a government insurance plan that would compete with them....

  • Did you see the New Yorker article about a month ago that said each country has to use what it has been doing and shift to better care - rather than start from scratch. It'll be interesting to see what parts we have (ins companies, drug companies, ??) that can be modified and incorporated to make a better system. Mind bending thoughts.
